Christmas Celebration 2011 by

Bangalore, Dec 19: The Christmas Celebration 2011 was held on 18th Dec 2011
at Sadbhavana, Carmelite Provincialate, 1st Block, Rajajinagar. The Programme
began with Holy Mass concelebrated by Rev. Fr. William Miranda and priests from
Sadbhavana and Sachidananda at 4.00 p.m at Sadbhavana Chapel. The celebrations
began with the Prayer song followed by lighting of lamp by our Chief Guest Mr.
J.Crasta and Mrs. Rita Crasta along with our Office bearers.
The main attraction was Christmas
Santa who arrived at the venue and presented the children chocolates; Christmas
cake was served to all. President Mr. Edwin Stephen D’Souza welcomed the chief
guests and the gathering.
Cultural activities like Carroll singing, Tableau, Group Dance, Fancy Dress by
the children and Comedy skit were performed.
Mrs. Lorna Beretto, Mrs. Mercy Jaya Menezes & Mrs. Priya D’souza who were
awarded best teachers awards from the Govt of Karnataka were felicitated from
our Association. Scholarship was awarded to the merit students, Mementos were
given for all our committee members. Mementos were given to the winner who
participated in KONCAB inter Association Cultural Fest and won prizes. Prizes
were distributed for all the winners of sports and other activities. Valerian
Baretto – Committee Member proposed vote of thanks. Delicious Mangalorean food
was served to all.
