KCA & KCS Jointly Celebrate
Christmas Dabazo 2011
Bangalore, Dec 18: The Christmas Dabazo 2011 was held at Christ the King
Church School grounds on 18th December 2011, jointly organized by Konkan
Catholic Association Mathikere and Konkani Catholic Sangh Yeshwantpur.
The programme started with Holy
Mass concelebrated by Rev. Fr. William Miranda and Rev. Fr. Maxim D 'Souza at
10:30 AM. The celebrations began with the welcome note by KCA president Mr.
Naveen D'Souza. Christmas Santa arrived at the scene and presented each of the
children with chocolates and gifts. This was followed by the cutting of cake by
Santa, Mr. Naveen D'Souza (president, KCA) and Mr. George Mascarenhas
(President, KCS)
Cultural activities like Carroll Singing competition, Singing and Dancing were
performed. There were various games such as weighing the cake, counting the
chocolates/ bananas and auction of cock and hen. Delicious Mangalorean food was
available, besides there were stalls that sold Kuswar, music CDs, etc. Children
were enjoying the merry-go-round and bouncer-jumper that was sponsored by Mr.
Henry Sequeira.
Lionel D'Souza compered the program. Mr. George Mascarenhas proposed vote of
thanks. The programme concluded with Housie game followed by Baila dance.
