Naveen D'Souza Elected president of Konkan
Catholic Association Bangalore
Bangalore, Jun 19: The 44th AGM of Konkan Catholic Association Bangalore was
held at Konkan Bhavan, Mathikere. The event started at 9:30 AM with Konkani mass
celebrated by Rev. Fr. William Miranda, Sadbavana, Bangalore.
The AGM started at 11:00 AM with welcome address
from President David Fernandes. Secretary Vinod Saldanha presented the minutes
of previous AGM and the annual report. Treasurer Robert Dias presented the
financial report of the year.
Later the election of new committee was conducted, which was officiated by Rev.
Fr. William Miranda. Following members were unanimously elected for the year
2011-13:

Michael D'Souza conducted the felicitation program for students who excelled in their academics. Rev. Fr. William Miranda commended the good work by the association, especially helping the poor and needy. In his speech the president elect Mr. Naveen D'Souza expressed his happiness to lead the prestigious association. Vinod Saldanha proposed vote of thanks. Around 60 members attended the AGM. The meeting concluded with delicious lunch.
