RKCWA Rajajinagar Organises Annual Lenten RETREAT in Konkani

Bangalore, Feb 21: For God loved the world so much that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
RKCWA Rajajinagar organised the annual lenten RETREAT in Konkani on 21st February 2010 at Indian Institute of Spirituality, Rajajinagar. Retreat started at 9 AM sharp. Rev. Fr. Alfred Vincent Sequeira from Mangalore Doicese was the Preacher. He preached on the following subjects:

9-00 to 9-45 : Who is your God? (John 15:11-17)
9-45 to 10-30 : Following Jesus. (Luke 15:25-32)
11-00 to 11-45 : My mission in the family. (Colossians 3:18-21)
11-45 to 12-30 : Lord have mercy. (Romans 8:31-37)

Vegeterian lunch was served to all participants.
Post Lunch there were individual confessions, Holy hour and MASS.
Our Youth choir with their melodious singing of retreat hymns increased our devotion in Christ.
Retreat came to an end at 4-30 PM.
Around 200 faithful who attended this retreat felt they did a good start to this lenten season with this konkani retreat.
