Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar Bangalore AGM

Bangalore, Jun 14: Annual General Body Meeting of Kokani Samudai was held on 14th June 2009 at Christha Prabhaalaya Church. There was a gathering of around 150 Konkani lovers. Prior to the AGM, Konkani mass was celebrated by Fr. Charles Furtado. He gave a meaningful sermon. This was followed by tea break.

AGM started with a beautiful prayer by Mrs. Irene D’souza. President Mr. A.S Almeida welcomed the gathering. Secretary Mr. Jerome D’silva presented the minutes of the last AGM. Treasurer Mr. Leslie D'sa presented the accounts. The AGM concluded by vote of thanks by the Vice President Mr. Alphonse Nazareth followed by delicious lunch served by Blue Bird Caterers.

Happy to see so many relatives and friends of mine in this AGM of Konkani Samudai, Jayanagar.This is the first time I'm attending this function, being a member of almost all the Konkani Associations in Bangalore. I fully agree with Mrs. Irene D'Souza the way she supported Konkani to use it in the Konkani gatherings. The function was good and special thanks for uploading the photos on fkca.net.
